President - Esther Jones - President@losangeles.iiba.org

Esther Jones has been involved with IIBA Los Angeles since 2010. Currently a business analyst with DirecTV, she has worked for both large and small companies in the course of her career. Esther has a BS in Molecular Biology and an MBA with a focus in Marketing. She is currently pursuing her CBAP certification.

Esther lives in the South Bay with her family and enjoys obstacle races and visits to the Aquarium of the Pacific.

Vice-President of Finance – Maricela Corletto - Finance@losangeles.iiba.org

Maricela Corletto is the Director of Development Information Management at the City of Hope, a Southern California leading research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases. She has more than 15 years of Advancement Services experience and currently oversees a department that provides training services, data quality and maintenance support, and report design and consultation to the Philanthropy & External Relations department. Maricela also directs the Business Process Improvement Initiative and coordinates implementation of Business Analysis and Change Management standards for all new projects and product enhancements.

A graduate of Whittier College, Maricela has a degree in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration. Maricela holds the role of VP of Finance with the IIBA Los Angeles Chapter and is a member of the Association of Advancement Services Professionals.

Vice-President of Marketing & Communications - James Jackson - Communications@losangeles.iiba.org

James Jackson has over twenty-two years experience as a Business Analyst. He currently works as an IT Manager for a downtown Los Angeles real estate firm. For all projects he has conducted feasibility studies, analyzed budgets, coordinated labor, and directly participated in their successful implementations. After each project he personally conducted user feedback interviews to perform quality assurance.

He has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He has also achieved the Certified Business Analysis Professional™, Project Management Professional®, ITIL Foundation Level®, Six Sigma Green Belt, and MCSE certifications.

Throughout the years has as served on the boards of the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce, USC Marshall Alumni Association, and Project Management Institute Los Angeles chapter. He is proud to serve as the IIBA-LA Vice President of Marketing and Communications.

Vice-President of Professional Development – Peggy Korecko - Education@losangeles.iiba.org

Peggy has been involved with the IIBA LA since its inception, having previously served on the charter team and as the Vice-President of Technology.

Peggy has over 10 years of IT experience, primarily in security administration and support. A Senior Business Systems Analyst with The Walt Disney Company, Peggy has strong skills in business analysis, process improvement, technical documentation, training, communications, and relationship building. Although she has worked in the IT industry for the last 10 years, Peggy has a degree in Journalism. She says having a degree in Journalism is like having a law degree in that it’s never wasted. She’s used that to her advantage becoming the go-to person for reviewing documents.

Peggy is also on the board of the Burbank Jaycees and the Southern California Kent State University Alumni Association. In her free time, she coordinates two events that she created: the Flavor of the Month Lunch and yearly Mystery ala Peg in two different states. Peggy is one of the recipients of the 2008 40 Under 40 Award from the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. She was named 2008 Jaycee of the Year and Board Member of the Year and was awarded the 2007 Jaycee Spirit Award. In 1990, she was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honorary. An Ohio native, Peggy now lives in Burbank.
